Getting started

From zero to first trade in a few taps.

1. Open the bot

Tap @altfun_trading_bot and hit Start. Send /wallet to begin.

2. Prepare a fresh trading wallet

Before importing, generate a brand-new EVM wallet in any wallet app (Rabby, MetaMask, etc). Use it only for alt.fun trading. Don't import your main wallet.

3. Fund the wallet on HyperEVM

You need two things on HyperEVM (chain 999):

• USDC — what you trade with. Bridge from any chain you hold USDC on.
• HYPE — pays for gas (a few cents per tx). Same address, native token.

Tip: short on HYPE? Use /wallet → 🔁 Swap later to convert some USDC into HYPE inside the bot.

4. Import the private key

1. In the bot, tap 📥 Import private key.
2. Paste the 64-hex private key. The chat message is deleted immediately on receipt.
3. The bot confirms with your address + HYPE / USDC balance.

5. First trade

1. Paste an alt.fun token CA (or full URL) into chat — the bot renders a card.
2. The card shows price · mcap · curve · holders · dev launches · your USDC balance.
3. Tap a preset (e.g. $10) or 🎯 Custom amount to type a USDC amount.
4. Confirm — bot submits the tx and updates the card with the result and a Hyperscan link. The position section appears once the fill settles.

6. Manage positions

Send /positions to see everything you hold, sorted by USD value (dust under $0.01 hidden). Tap any row to open the full card with sell presets attached (25 / 50 / 75 / 100%).

7. Swap USDC ↔ HYPE

/wallet → 🔁 Swap. Pick a direction, type an amount, confirm. Routed through the liqd.ag aggregator for best price.
